Day Surgery Waiting Room

Greet and welcome family members; provide hospitality by offering waiting room coffee and snacks; direct family members to services (dining room, chapel, vending machines, rest rooms)

Escort

Transport patients via wheelchair and/or deliver flowers, cards or lab specimens to appropriate destination

Fundraising

Assist with book fairs, plant sales, Love Light campaign, bake/craft sales, golf tournaments, etc. for Partners of Stoughton Hospital (POSH) and for Stoughton Hospital Foundation

Geriatric Psychiatry

Visit with and/or feed patients, answer call lights, read or play games with patients, answer phones and help at nurses station with light clerical, etc

Escort or transports patients to and from other departments, deliver specimens to appropriate labs, clerical tasks, stock carts and communicate community resources - Oregon Urgent care location also available

Volunteer Services

Schedule volunteers, clerical, data entry and assist with education in-services

Wheel Chair Maintenance

Performs basic manual wheel chair maintenance such as oiling, tightening or replacing different parts which may include tires, wheel locks, foot rests, arm rests, along with general wheel chair cleaning; work space, tools and replacement parts provided
