RN's

We are currently accepting applications for per diem RN staff in our Geriatric Psychiatry department.  Prefer minimum of one year of RN experience. 

 

LPN's / C.N.A.'s

Licensed Practical Nurse-Geriatric Psychiatry
The Geri Psych Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing assigned patient care duties for the patients on the Geriatric Psychiatry Unit.  The LPN is responsible for providing assigned aspects of patient care in accordance with the established plan of care and under the general direction of a Registered Nurse.  Delegated assignments to this position will be used on orientation completion and competency proof.  Qualifications include: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program and current WI Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.  Also must have current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.  Non-violent crisis intervention training is required every two years on a rolling calendar. 

  •  Full-time, Days/PM, 40 hours/week, 80 hours bi-weekly, every third weekend; Sat & Sun; 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., every 3rd holiday. 

Certified Nursing Assistant-Medical/Surgical
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for administering direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.  This position also performs general clerical duties in the smooth operation of the Med/Surg unit.  Qualifications include: Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program, High school graduate or equivalent, must have current CPR certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.  Previous acute care experience or work in a healthcare setting is preferred.

  • Full-time, Nights, working 8 – 12 hour shifts, 40 hours/week, 80 hours bi-weekly, every other weekend. 

PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL/OTHER

Medical Technologist ASCP or Medical Lab Technician
This position performs skilled clinical laboratory procedures according to established standards. Medical Technologist qualifications: current MT/ASCP registration, Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science including clinical training. Medical Lab Technician qualifications: current MLT/ASCP registration and Associate degree in Medical Lab Technology.

  • Occasional Hours as Needed. This position requires one year of related experience. 

Physical Therapist Assistant-Home Health
The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for the full range of Physical Therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected and delegated by the supervising physical therapist in a residential setting. Qualifications include: Graduate of an accredited two year college program approved by the APTA with proof of successful completion of the program, Must have current PTA license in the State of Wisconsin in good standing, must also have CPR certification or the ability to obtain upon hire. 

  • Part-time, Days, Flexible, 20 hours/week, 40 hours bi-weekly, No scheduled weekends or holidays.

Accounting Assistant
We have a temporary opportunity for an Accounting Assistant.  This position provides support in the general accounting and patient financial services departments in order to keep the day-to-day operations going during our conversion to SAP software.  This position requires experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting preferred, high school graduate or equivalent.  Prefer prior related experience in a health care setting and satisfactory completion of an Accounting course.

  • Temporary, Part-time, 4 hours/day Monday – Friday, 9/15/2010 – 3/15/2011 as needed. 

Coding Specialist
Under general supervision, evaluate medical records and assigns diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD9-CM and CPT classification systems.  Enters appropriate facility and professional charges for services. Prefer candidate with experience with 3M coding systems and EPIC electronic health record as well as CCS, CPC or RHIT certification.  Also prefer candidate with one – two years inpatient or outpatient coding experience.  Potential for home coding opportunity in the future.

  • Full-time, Days, Monday – Friday, no weekends or holidays.

FOOD SERVICES

New Close to Home Café opens fall of 2010!

Chef
We are looking for a person with talent and proven ability in cooking and creating. This position prepares food for Dining Room lunch meals and catered events. This position will work in our new Café and multi-task on a variety of duties with the ultimate goal of providing superior food service to our customers.  Also, assists with the food ordering process.  Qualifications include previous experience in institutional food preparation, post secondary education in food preparation, and high school graduate or equivalent.  Prefer technical training in culinary arts or quantity food preparation, one year supervisory or lead experience, and sanitation certificate.

  • Part-time, days vary, 16 hours/week, 6 am – 2:30 p.m. and 10 am – 6:30 p.m. once per month.

Food Prep Assistant
This position will primarily be scheduled for dish room duties which include scraping & racking dirty dishes, operating dish machine, manual ware washing and returning clean items to storage racks.  This position also performs patient meal tray deliveries.  Qualifications include basic reading and comprehension skills.  Prefer candidate with experience in Food & Nutrition and high school graduate or equivalent.

  • Part-time, 24 hours bi-weekly, days vary, 8am – 2:30 pm, every other weekend/holiday 7:30 am – 2pm.

Cook
This position will cook food primarily for our new Close to Home Café with the ultimate goal of providing superior foodservice to our customers.  Primary duties include preparing soups, entrees, meats, vegetables and salads for the servery, vending and catered events.  Secondary duties include assisting with the food ordering process.  Qualifications include basic reading and comprehension skills.  Prefer candidate with experience in institutional food preparation and post-secondary education in food preparation.

  • Part-time, 16 hours bi-weekly, Saturday and Sunday 8am – 12pm.

Food Prep Assistants
This position will work in our new Café and multi-task on a variety of duties with the ultimate goal of providing superior food service to our customers.  Primary duties include opening or closing servery, short-order cooking and serving food as ordered by customers, maintaining food supplies in all display, dispensing and storage areas in the servery and cleaning equipment.  Secondary duties include cashiering and assisting in dish room.  Qualifications include basic reading and comprehension skills.  Prefer candidate with experience in Food & Nutrition and high school graduate or equivalent.

  • Full-time, 70 hours bi-weekly, days vary, 5:30am - 1pm & every other weekend & holiday.
  • Part-time, 60 hours bi-weekly, days vary, 1pm – 7:30pm & every other weekend & holiday.
  • Part-time, 40 hours bi-weekly, days vary, 5:30am – 1pm and 6:30am – 1:30pm, every other weekend/holiday.

  • (Three Positions) Part-time, 20 hours bi-weekly, days vary, 4:30 – 7pm, every other weekend & holiday working 4:30 – 7pm, 6:30am – 1:30 pm, or 1-7:30pm.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES/MAINTENANCE


Housekeeper
Relief Housekeeper Positions.  Responsible for performing light, routine-cleaning duties to maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition.  Also maintains necessary stocks of cleaning supplies and disposing of designated accumulated waste products. Requires basic reading and comprehension skills.  Prefer prior institutional cleaning experience in a healthcare setting and high school graduate or equivalent.

  • (Two Open Positions) Part-time, Days/PMs, 40 hours bi-weekly, Days & Hours vary, 4 and 8 hour shifts starting from 5am to 8am, occasional 4 and 8 hours PM shifts starting at 3pm, every other weekend.
